EU Values
The EU Values project involves eCampus University and five high schools in Italy (2), Greece, Cyprus and Denmark. The schools are the main beneficiaries of the project with eCampus acting as an enabler and facilitator, providing expertise and support to reach the project goals.
EU Values main goal is to help partner schools insert EU citizenship education in their curricular activities in a structural manner. It is essentially a pilot project to develop and start implementing a vertical curriculum, syllabus and teaching material about the EU. Therefore its activities target the partner schools as institutions and their teachers and students.
The specific activities aim at:
- training teachers on the EU and enable them to exchange experiences and good practices;
- involve and help teachers from all schools in the development of specific curricula and syllabus (linked to each educational system requirements and peculiarities) and in the joint creation of teaching materials;
- support schools and teachers in the organization of activities on the EU, able to motivate and engage students, and to reach out to the wider society;
- support schools and teachers in experimenting the curriculum, syllabus and teaching materials;
- ensure a transnational formative experience to selected students from all partner schools with co- teaching and co-tutoring of the teachers.
